Sally Apgar, who founded Austen & Watson,  is an award-winning investigative journalist turned licensed Florida private investigator. During 25+ years working for newspapers from Boston to Minneapolis to Honolulu, she fine-tuned interviewing, backgrounding and researching while building her computer skills including designing custom databases to track and trend anything from complicated timelines to frauds and liabilities and financial transaction trails. Many of her investigative newspaper series were intricate frauds or white-collar crimes. She now applies these bullet-proof skills to uncloak lies, upend police cases, prove inconsistencies and impeach/discredit key witnesses.
